[Golist] [Fuselist] Using Fuse? + off topic

Hi Moses and everyone,

* Do you use AS2 + Fuse in your work?

I used both a lot for almost all my as2 projects.

* How much are you using AS3? If not at all, do you plan to start?

I now use as3 almost all the time

* You get the Open Source Flash book... it has a tweening chapter by
Moses...

Using Fuse I'm really interested as I'm already using it, might be nice for
the developers who wants to learn it.
Using Go, yes definitely. If I look at the benchmarks, I'd like to use Go.
Which I'm not using, I explain below if you're interested.
Using others Tween kits, definitely yes as well, especially for physics
engine and learn what are the difference between all the kits. For example,
if you need a tweener very small for a banner or whatever, it is good to
know What is TweenerLite. Then, have a good overview from a specialist will
be very interesting.

So, off topic, I'm not using Go yet. I loved Fuse though and I'd like to use
implements Go in my projects.
I'm not using Go because:

- I don't have time, probably neither the skills, to write a good parser as
some could do, as good as Fuse has been in as2.

- I had a small issue, comparing in a file Tweener and Go. Not really Go
only, as I used the Hydrotween parser (as I don't have time to write one
:)).
I included the files, swf and as. If you roll over and out the picture
quickly, before the tween is done (basically to test the reactivity of the
engine), you'll see that the Tweener movement is smoother than Go +
Hydrotween.
Is there something wrong in the Go engine? In Hydrotween? In my code? Well,
I'm using Tweener until I get an effective parser, maybe Fuse 3?

- I followed the first tutorial, but I couldn't follow the second one where
you show how to build a Fuse like parser as it seems I missed a part of the
video in the first quarter?

Those are probably good and bad reasons, well they are mine, I hope it is
helping you to make Go accessible and well known.

Subject: [Fuselist] Using Fuse?

Hi, I am writing a chapter on Fuse + GoASAP, for a book on Open Source
Flash.
I'd really like to get your opinions on these topics. So don't lurk,
post a reply! :-)

* Do you use AS2 + Fuse in your work?
* How much are you using AS3? If not at all, do you plan to start?

* You get the Open Source Flash book... it has a tweening chapter by
Moses...
What do you hope it covers?
	- Using Fuse (programming guide)
	- Using GoASAP (programming guide)
	- Using Tween Kits (general): Fuse, Tweener, Go, Physics engines,
etc.

PLEASE REPLY! ! !
If you don't want to reply to the list, feel free to send me an email
off list.

Cool, thanks! :-)
Moses
